The Antagonists:

The United States (BLUE) will be led by John ‘Sandman’ Russell of Valor Scenario Paintball & his XO Sabria ‘Valkyrie’ Frehulfer of Viper Squad Paintball.

The European Union (RED) will be led by Zach Riley of the Stud Muffins, & his XO Chase Traffic Morris of Anarchy Scenario Paintball.

The Story:

In a world teetering on the brink of technological transcendence and destruction, Site 38 stood as a beacon of hope and horror. Prior to the “incident” at the clandestine facility it was rumored to house an artifact capable of altering the course of human history. Having successfully weaponized the artifact, the United States decided that its benefits outweighed its potential for catastrophe. A B-2 Spirit, armed with a B83 nuclear warhead, was aborted at the final moment when the CIA recovered the artifact from the THULE Society during their attack on Site 38.

The destructive potential of the artifact led to a scramble to extract and scrub all data from Site 38 before its sanitization. Within a matter of days, a letter from Argonne National Laboratory revealed the successful weaponization to the President and Joint Chiefs of Staff. The United States continued the covert development and deployment of this weapon in orbit.

 A weapon of unparalleled power, it was first tested in combat during the Gulf War at a fraction of its power resulting in [REDACTED][REDACTED][REDACTED][REDACTED], later referred to as the ‘Highway of Death’. In this new age of warfare, the United States was set on a course to attain unrivaled military dominance and establish itself as the sole superpower after The Collapse of the Soviet Union. Yet the pursuit of power came at a cost.  President George H. W. Bush observed the successful combat test live from the Situation Room. With a new understanding of the potential for misuse, he demanded that the satellite be deorbited. A shadow organization within the government determined to retain control of the weapon assassinated President Bush before the deorbiting could be executed. 

The calculated removal of President George H.W. Bush under the guise of a brain aneurysm marked the beginning of a series of events shrouded in deception and betrayal. Upon President Bush’s death, Vice President Dan Quayle was sworn into office. He chose to appoint  Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney as Vice President. Shortly thereafter, President Quayle was killed in a hunting accident under circumstances as controversial as they were tragic. These events paved the way for Vice President Dick Cheney's ascendance to the Presidency. 

In December of 1993, as a response to Al-Qaeda’s coordinated efforts with the Thule Society in the bombing of the World Trade Center, the United States retaliated with a demonstration of the weapon’s full potential. In the blink of an eye, Afghanistan and most of Pakistan were erased from the map. The orbital strike was initially intended as a show of force but instead, ignited a powder keg of European outrage. Charges of war crimes were brought against the U.S. and they were forced to vacate all European bases. 

As the new millennium approached, the world grappled with the specter of Y2K. During this time, the US was ejected from the UN, NATO dissolved, and the European Union was reborn from the ashes of old alliances.

The globe was cleaved in two, pitting the US against a global coalition led by the EU…
